These pouches are handmade in Morocco using soft supple organic leather which has been tanned naturally without the use of harmful chemicals such as chromium, using techniques dating from medieval times. The leather is oiled leaving the natural markings of the hide visible adding to the character and individuality of the the pouches. Artisans then hand cut and stitch the pouches in small family workshops using traditional tools.
